Susan White is a primary school teacher and worked for more than two years as a VSO volunteer in Nigeria. 

This experience influences a lot of her recent writing. 

In 1998 she won a national competition and her short play was chosen to be included in the London School of Drama Festival.

Susan has won 1st prize with "A time when trees walked the Earth" in the 2011 Wrekin short story competition.
